The Seven Principles

The Seven Principles are the expression of Ma'at that CultureROOTS reads a culture for: Order, Balance, Harmony, Compassion, Reciprocity, Truth, and Justice. They form a progression, each standing on the ones before it.

Order comes first as the ground of everything; Balance holds what order makes; Harmony emerges from both; and Compassion, Reciprocity, Truth, and Justice describe how that ordered, balanced life moves justly between people. Each principle also carries its own values.
