Signal vs Compass

Signal vs Compass names the two halves of one motion in CultureROOTS: the Signal is the reading (what is true right now) and the Compass is the response (what to tend next). The Compass is drawn from the Signal, not a new set of questions.

Holding them apart, in this order, lets the reading stand on its own before any action is asked — the Signal a mirror, the Compass a doorway, with the Inner Weighing between them. The same motion runs at both levels: MySignal to MyCompass for a person, OurSignal to OurCompass for a group.

A CultureROOTS distinction; see the Library page on Signal to Compass.
