Utamawazo

Utamawazo is Marimba Ani's term for the culturally patterned way of thinking a worldview produces — the mental habits that feel less like a choice and more like plain reality. Inside a given utamawazo, its assumptions arrive as common sense rather than announcing themselves as assumptions.

This is why a worldview can carry ideas as universal that are actually specific to it, and why a tool built inside one can present its logic as neutral. For CultureROOTS, naming utamawazo is what makes an inherited practice visible as one way of seeing among others.
